This is an exciting time for alumni relations at the University of Illinois. At its Jan. 16 meeting, the Alumni Association Board of Directors unanimously approved the vision, mission and strategic themes for the FY2015-18 Strategic Plan. The directors were supportive and complimentary of the process the Association and the Operations Committee have followed, particularly with regard to inclusiveness, collaboration and transparency. The Board also authorized me and the executive management team to further develop the details of the tactical plan to help realize that vision and mission.
