Lt. Roever served with the 70th Bomber Squadron, 42nd Bomber Group, Heavy. He was a crew member of a B-25, lost on a weather reconnaissance mission. He is listed as Missing in Action or Buried at Sea on the Tablets of the Missing at Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines.
